Mounting the Novumetrics unit

1. Place the base plate against a level wall with at least 2.5 m of vertical clearance.
2. Secure anchor bolts using the provided template and torque wrench (35 Nm).
3. Attach the vertical mast, ensuring the spirit level indicator stays centered.
4. Snap the soft arm-span wings into their magnets; they auto-register during boot.

Tip: allow 0.5 m of clearance on each side for smooth arm span guidance.

Power and network

• 110–240 V AC input · 150 W peak draw · IEC C13 power cable (included).
• Ethernet preferred (802.3af PoE optional); Wi-Fi 6 supported for temporary deployments.
• Offline mode caches up to 500 sessions with later sync via USB-C export.

For VLAN or firewall allowlists, open outbound ports 443 and 123 to *.novumetrics.cloud.

First calibration routine

1. Insert the calibration wand until it clicks; the UI confirms sensor alignment.
2. Follow on-screen prompts to place the included 100 cm and 180 cm rods.
3. Scan the provided QR code to upload calibration logs to the Novumetrics portal.
4. Remove the wand; the system auto-locks to prevent drift.

Weekly micro-calibrations take 90 seconds and can be scheduled before clinics open.

Training your staff

• Provide the 15-minute onboarding video included in the portal.
• Use the demo mode to rehearse cues with colleagues—no data is stored.
• Create at least two operator accounts to maintain audit trails.
